Innovation and Experience in Industrial Engines
YANMAR (Japan, 1912). The first company to successfully build a compact, practically sized diesel engine in 1933. HIMOINSA has been part of Yanmar since 2015 and their engineering teams work closely together to develop solutions with the most advanced technology.
Both companies have worked together to develop these HGY generator sets which are equipped with the latest generation of GY engines, thus combining HIMOINSA's expertise in the power generation sector with Yanmar's innovative technology. With a consolidated track record in the design and manufacture of engines for marine applications, the company enjoys a solid reputation worldwide.
The result is the GY175L family, a powerful yet compact engine that is best-in-class in terms of fuel oil consumption (FOC) optimisation. Maximum efficiency and minimum consumption and operation costs.
Industrial Capacity
The industrial capacity of HIMOINSA and Yanmar continues to grow worldwide. With production centres all over the world, this new project will further strengthen the expansion of the companies' production potential.
Yanmar is implementing an innovative production line for the new GY engine at its Amagasaki plant in Japan, as part of an ambitious industrial project that will allow the company to mass produce several models with varying engine software and hardware requirements in order to meet the needs of all the different applications (ESP, COP, DCP, PRP, LTP)
HIMOINSA is planning a new Power Solutions production centre in Spain, with a surface area of 17,000 m² and an annual manufacturing capacity of 1,000 generators.
